Peakland Heritage is a cooperative project between the British Library, Derbyshire County Council Libraries and Heritage Department and the Peak District National Park Authority.

In December 2002, the Peakland Heritage website was shortlisted in the Knowledge Category of the Biz-net Awards run by the International Visual Communication Association.
The IVCA Awards were established three years ago in partnership with the Design Council, the media and the industry itself, to promote excellence in the effective use of digital content over the latest delivery platforms.
